Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 12 Tbsp unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 3/4 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (coarsely chopped) or substitute 1 cup dried cranberries

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, then beat in egg, zest, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined to form dough.
  4. Stir in cranberries and chocolate chips, then shape into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on wire rack before serving.

Notes

For chewier cookies, refrigerate dough before baking.
