Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas
  • 113 g melted unsalted butter
  • 2 pieces eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 159 g light brown sugar
  • 210 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 117 g walnuts
  • 170 g chocolate chips reserve 56g for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Mash bananas and stir in melted butter.
  2. Add eggs, vanilla, and brown sugar; mix well. Combine dry ingredients separately and fold into wet mixture.
  3. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour batter into greased loaf pan and sprinkle reserved walnuts and chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake for 55-65 minutes, covering with foil halfway through. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips for best flavor.
