Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • as needed hershey's kisses, unwrapped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Mix in flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Form 1-inch balls, make an indent, and bake 10-12 minutes.
  5. Press Hershey's Kisses into each cookie immediately after baking.

Notes

Ensure not to overbake for soft centers.
