Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup gluten-free oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients: almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in nuts and chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 45-55 minutes, cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of nutmeg or vanilla.
