Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 50-60 minutes, cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of nutmeg or top with additional nuts.
