Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
Sweeteners & Spices
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix cranberries, apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
