Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or your choice of pasta
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Seasonings
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Optional Garnish
  • to taste Fresh basil or parsley

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
