  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, applesauce, coconut oil, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture, stirring gently.
  4. Fold in nuts if using, then pour batter into pan and smooth top.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
