Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas with melted butter.
- Add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in walnuts.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruit.
