Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
Butter
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt
  • Pinch pinch of salt
Sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
Egg
  • 1 large beaten egg
Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruit.
