Starbucks Copycat Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add baking soda and salt.
  3. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruit.
