Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment and spray with nonstick spray.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Whisk egg, sugar, and oil until combined.
- Add dry ingredients to wet, then mix in mashed bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla.
- Pour batter into pan, sprinkle walnuts on top, and bake for 60-75 minutes.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor and mash well before adding.
