Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in mashed bananas. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
