Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine sourdough discard, flour, and salt until a dough forms.
- Add olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, and thyme, mixing until well incorporated.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape each piece into a knot.
- Place knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with egg wash, if using, and sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use garlic-infused olive oil.
