Bananas and Pumpkin
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 bananas)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
Wet ingredients
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, pumpkin, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, stir until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 60-70 minutes, cool before serving.
