Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs, then add bananas, milk, and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet ingredients just until combined.
- Fold in walnuts and optional ingredients. Pour batter into pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the batter to keep the bread tender.
