Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips if desired

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas, then mix in melted butter.
  3. Add sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
  4. Fold in flour and optional nuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 50–60 minutes, then cool.
