Ingredients
  

Green Beans
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Blanch green beans for 5 minutes, drain.
  2. Mix cream cheese, mushroom soup, milk, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine green beans and half of the cheddar cheese with the mixture.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and fried onions.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or paprika on top before baking.
