Ingredients
  

Beef Mixture
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
Nachos
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 can refried beans (16 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Toppings
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup sliced black olives
  • 0.25 cup pickled jalapeños
  • 0.25 cup chopped red onion
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salsa for serving
  • Guacamole for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer until thickened.
  4. Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet.
  5. Spread refried beans over the chips.
  6. Top with beef, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese.
  7. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Top with sour cream, olives, jalapeños, onion, and cilantro.
  9. Serve with salsa and guacamole.

Adjust the amount of jalapeños to your spice preference.
