Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mash bananas until mostly smooth. Mix in melted butter, sour cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter to keep the bread moist and tender.
