  • 4-5 ripe bananas peeled and halved
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips dairy-free, as needed
  • 3 Tablespoons coconut oil
  • Mini Chocolate Chips, Toasted Coconut, Chopped Nuts, Coarse Sea Salt, Crushed Freeze-Dried Berries, Sprinkles etc.

Method
 

  1. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half. Freeze 2-3 hours, or overnight.
  2. Assemble toppings you plan to add.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil over low heat or in the microwave until smooth.
  4. Dip frozen banana halves into the chocolate, let excess drip off, and add toppings.
  5. Return bananas to the freezer for a few minutes to harden. Store in an airtight bag.

Notes

Use ripe but firm bananas for best results.
