Easy Vegan Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed the spottier, the sweeter!
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or any neutral oil
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for sweetness
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce extra moisture without eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract makes everything better
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour the base of our bread
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda to lift the bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt balances sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon adds warm spice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl. Add oil, sugar, applesauce, vanilla; stir well.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon in a separate bowl. Combine with wet ingredients.
  4. Pour batter into pan, smooth top, and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
