Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, eggs, honey, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together baking soda, baking powder, salt, flour, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture; fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
