Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Dairy and Baking
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 medium mashed bananas
  • 2 beaten eggs eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a couple pinches salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • a few dashes cinnamon (optional)

Method
 

  1. Mash bananas in one bowl and cream butter with sugar in another.
  2. Mix mashed bananas and eggs into the creamed butter and sugar.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and optional spices.
  4. Fold in chopped walnuts and vanilla if using.
  5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-50 minutes.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
