Method
- Mash bananas in one bowl and cream butter with sugar in another.
- Mix mashed bananas and eggs into the creamed butter and sugar.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and optional spices.
- Fold in chopped walnuts and vanilla if using.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-50 minutes.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas and do not overmix the batter.
