Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 medium mashed bananas
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a couple pinches salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • a few dashes cinnamon (optional)

Method
 

  1. Mash bananas in one bowl and cream butter with sugar in another.
  2. Mix mashed bananas and eggs into the creamed butter and sugar.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Fold in chopped walnuts and pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-50 minutes until golden.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
