Ingredients
  

Meat & Beans
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
Vegetables & Spices
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
Other
  • 1 cup tortilla chips crushed

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  2. Mix cooked beef, black beans, taco seasoning, and salsa in a bowl.
  3. Layer crushed tortilla chips in the crockpot, then add the beef mixture on top.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.

Notes

You can customize with additional toppings like sour cream, jalapenos, or cilantro.
