Method
- Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Whisk together the egg and milk in another shallow dish.
- Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
- Dredge cheese curds in flour, dip in egg, and coat with panko. Ensure full coating.
- Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry cheese curds in small batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy cheese curds, double dredge them in the flour and panko breadcrumbs.
