Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
Add-ins
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
Streusel Topping
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
  • ¼ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed (for streusel)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine wet ingredients separately.
  3. Combine wet and dry, fold in cranberries, then divide batter into muffin cups.
  4. Prepare streusel by mixing sugar, flour, and butter; sprinkle over batter.
  5. Bake for 20-22 minutes, then cool before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of orange juice to the batter.
