  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and salt until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk eggs, then slowly add cranberry mixture, stirring constantly.
  4. Return to heat, cook until thickened, then stir in butter.
  5. Pour into tart shell, bake 15-20 minutes, then cool and refrigerate before serving.
