Classic Moist Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas about 1 ½ cups mashed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas; mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and bananas.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Combine dry and wet ingredients gently.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pan 10–15 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added flavor, fold in nuts or chocolate chips before baking.
