Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat softened butter until creamy, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in sprinkles or nuts if desired.
- Drop dollops of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
