Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for cinnamon swirl)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter, then add baking soda, salt, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour and fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Combine cinnamon and sugar for swirl. Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle with half cinnamon sugar, add remaining batter, then top with remaining cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes, cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
