Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C Fan). Grease a 2lb loaf tin.
- Mash bananas, then mix in melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Sift in flour, bicarbonate, and salt; fold into wet ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips, pour into tin, sprinkle with extra chips.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, cool before serving.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
