Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas and melted butter until smooth.
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until blended. Combine dry ingredients separately and fold into wet mixture. Add optional nuts or chips.
- Pour batter into pan and smooth top. Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5–10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle with a little cinnamon on top before baking.
