Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt.
- Mash bananas, add sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla; mix well.
- Combine wet and dry, fold in walnuts.
- Pour batter into loaf pan, bake 60 minutes.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruits.
