Ingredients
  

Dried Fruits
  • 3 ripe bananas ripe bananas
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt.
  3. Mash bananas, add sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla; mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry, fold in walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan, bake 60 minutes.
  6. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of chocolate chips or dried fruits.
