Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash bananas until smooth, then mix in melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan; add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
