Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into pan, smooth top, and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or a handful of additional nuts.
